Duration and Recognition-
MBA is a full time program of two years duration. Each year is divided into two semesters. It is recognized by Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir and approved by All India council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India. The program is affiliated to the University of Jammu.

Number of Seats available in MBA program is 60 which is distributed in two category as under:

EligibilityThe minimum qualification required for admission to the First Semester of MBA are:

The Bachelor's Degree in any discipline recognized by the University of Jammu or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 50% of aggregate marks(40% for SC/ST).
- Pass in the final examination of the institute of Chartered Accountants or of Cost and Works Accountants or of Company Secretaries or A.M.I.E. with at least 50% of the aggregate marks.

A candidate appearing / appeared in the Bachelor's Degree Final year examination and expecting to pass with requisite percentage of aggregate mark in the said examination can also apply and appear in the Written Test provisionally.
Admission ProcedureApplication for admission to the specified course must be made in the prescribed Admission Form which has been enclosed lat the end of the Information Bulletin. Admission form duly completed and accompanied with:
Four Passport size color Photographs
Attested photocopies of D.O.B. certificate and Mark Sheets of 10th, 12th and Degree examination passed by the candidate.
A Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended. Admission to the MBA Program will be made on the basis of:
Written Test conducted by AIMA, New Delhi called "Management Aptitude Test"(MAT)
Group Discussion and
Personal Interview to be conducted by Institute
Selection-
Candidate will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview in order of merit (qualifying in the written Test)before a "Selection Committee"at the Institute's Campus. The topics posed for Group Discussion are usually of general, provocative nature and the candidates are observed for their Conceptional Clarity, Communication Skills, Intellectual Awareness, Leadership Quality and Mental Flexibility. The Personal Interview is a personality probe and a cross check on the depth of understanding of the candidate and his overall suitability.

Selection is made on the basis of the Academic Record of the candidates, their performance in the Entrance Examination, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
- Selected candidates will be required to complete all Admission formalities and pay the Fee within the prescribed time period given in the Selection List displayed on the Notice Board of the Institute. Intimation regarding selection will be communicated to candidates individually by post also.
Fee- As Prescribed from time to time.
Attendance Requirement-
A candidate shall be considered eligible for taking a semester examination, if he/she besides other things, has attended 75% of the total Lectures, Tutorials and Seminars conducted in that semester.
Examination System- Maximum marks allotted to each course is 100. Of these 30% marks are reserved for Internal Assessment which shall be based on Class room Participation, Tests and Home Assignment. The weight age of each of these components of internal assessment shall be decided by the Institute at the beginning of the year.
- The remaining 70% marks in each course shall be for a Written Examination at the end of each semester which will be conducted by University of Jammu.
Award of MBA Degree- On the successful completion of the program each candidate will be given a Marks Certificate and awarded the MBA degree by University of Jammu.
Legal Jurisdiction - All disputes shall have the legal jurisdiction of Jammu Courts only.
